The An-2 plane that disappeared in the Kamchatka region of Russia has been found by rescuers.
This was announced by the regional Minister of Emergency Situations Sergey Lebedev on his page in "VKontakte".
"The plane has been found. People are on board the Mi-8. They are traveling to Milkovo. "Everyone is alive," Lebedev wrote.
A criminal case has been opened for the emergency landing of the plane, which rescuers found with the surviving two crew members and one passenger, for violation of air transport safety rules.
This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport (MIDT) of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The department added that investigators and forensic experts from the Investigative Department are establishing details of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
