Air defense in Kiev repelled a Russian air attack this morning, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the military administration of the Ukrainian capital.
Witnesses reported several explosions after the Ukrainian Air Force announced a missile threat warning throughout the country, BTA reports.
According to preliminary information, rocket debris fell on a private property in one of the capital's districts, the military administration of Kiev reported on "Telegram". There was no fire or damage, and no reports of casualties, the statement said.
In a separate incident, an unidentified infrastructure facility was hit in a Russian missile attack on the town of Shostka, in the northern Sumy region, authorities said. Local sources reported on Telegram about explosions in the area.
