Bezos postpones Blue Origin rocket launch due to technical issue - 1

The launch into orbit of the rocket of the American space company Blue Origin, owned by Jeff Bezos, was canceled this morning just six minutes before the scheduled takeoff from Florida due to technical issues, the Air Force reports, Focus reports.

The New Glenn carrier rocket, designed for partial reuse, was ready at Blue Origin's launch pad at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It was loaded with methane and liquid oxygen, and the technical team was in the process of preparing for takeoff.

After eventually encountering “several anomalies“, requiring further investigation, the launch was canceled at the last minute. The delays began days before the planned launch, with the reasons being related to adverse weather conditions.

Blue Origin said it would consider options for a new launch attempt within the next 24 hours or even longer, depending on the development of the situation. It is not yet clear when a new launch will be given.
