A fuel depot in Russia's Tula region, south of Moscow, has caught fire after a Ukrainian drone attack, local authorities reported this morning, quoted by DPA and BTA.

Emergency Situations Ministry teams extinguished an open fire after a fuel and lubricants tank caught fire at one of the enterprises in the Tula region. I personally inspected the area where the drone debris fell and monitored the extinguishing of the fire. The open fire has now been extinguished. There are no casualties, Milyaev wrote on "Telegram", quoted by TASS.

The governor reported that the region came under attack overnight, with air defense (ADF) forces and electronic warfare systems destroying five Ukrainian drones. He warned that the danger in the area remains.

DPA notes that Tula is located 160 km south of Moscow. The agency points out that the attack in the region was carried out just hours after a similar drone attack in the Kaluga region (southwest of the Russian capital), which also caused a fire at a fuel depot.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed 46 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions. Of these, 18 were over the territory of the Bryansk region, 11 - in the Kursk region, 7 in Kaluga, 5 in the Tula region, 3 over the Belgorod region and 2 - in the Voronezh region.
