The administration of US President-elect Donald Trump believes that it is necessary to “make decisions on Iran“ next month. This was stated by Trump's future national security advisor Mike Walz in an interview with CBS News.
According to him, Iran is currently weakened and “ is at a disadvantage thanks to the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu“.
"Everyone said that destroying Hezbollah leader" Hassan Nasrallah would be too escalating, too provocative, that it couldn't be done. And guess what? They did it," said Walz.
“It also led to the fall of Bashar al-Assad and his brutal dictatorship. It led to the complete isolation of Hamas and a new opportunity for Lebanon. Now the situation has changed and I think that is the main reason for the peace agreement in Gaza," he said.
“And Iran's air defenses have been destroyed. So this is the moment to make key decisions. And we will do that within the next month,“ concluded Walz.
