After the strong response to the one-day boycott of stores, the advisor of the platform “Hello Inspector“ Yosip Kelemen said on the show “Studio 4“ on the Croatian National Television HRT that for the first time “citizens are sending a clear message, regardless of political or other affiliation.“

On the day of the boycott, some merchants significantly reduced the prices of products, which according to Kelemen “means that they still care, although they initially said that this would not affect their business.“

“We expect the government to devote more attention to the problem of inflation, which is not from yesterday, nor did prices rise yesterday. We are aware that results cannot be expected overnight, but someone needs to work on the issues of inflation and high prices, and not just give advice,” said the advisor to the platform “Hello, Inspector.”

After the general boycott, Yosip Kelemen announced that he can expect a boycott of all retail chains or a specific shopping center for several days, a boycott of several products at the same time, or another initiative.

This will be decided by users, who will be called on to express their opinion and make their own suggestions via the platform’s Facebook page. “The voice of the people must be heard. We will see what the analysis of the boycott will show,” Kelemen told HRT.
