A magnitude 5.4 earthquake on the Richter scale shook Taiwan, "Reuters" reported, quoted by News.bg.
The earthquake was registered on April 8 at around 6:30 p.m. local time. The epicenter was located about 60 kilometers from the capital Taipei, in Yilan County, and the depth of the earthquake was 72.4 kilometers.
According to preliminary information, there is no data on damage or casualties.
