Chechen media reported that President Ramzan Kadyrov commented on the possibility of resigning from his post as head of the Chechen Republic and expressed hope that his proposal would be supported, News.bg reports.
The Chechen leader said that many people did not understand the full meaning of his words regarding the resignation and specified that the decision on this issue is made solely by Russian President Vladimir Putin, TASS reports.
„Many did not understand the meaning of my words regarding the resignation. I do not decide whether I will remain in the post of head of the Chechen Republic or not. Yes, I can ask or suggest. "But no matter how I speak, no matter how I ask, such a decision is made by only one person - our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin," Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
He added that he considers himself an infantryman and a person who works in a team, ready to carry out any order.
