Pakistan said it remained committed to the ceasefire with India but vowed to respond with full determination to any future aggression from Delhi, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

India and Pakistan on Saturday declared a ceasefire after four days of fierce fighting.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday addressed the nation, warning Pakistan that Delhi would again attack "terrorist hideouts" along the border if there were new attacks on India. Modi also stressed that India would not tolerate "nuclear blackmail".

The two nuclear-armed neighbors have been exchanging missile and drone strikes since India said on Wednesday it had hit "terror infrastructure" in Pakistan and Pakistani Kashmir.

The Indian army carried out the strikes in response to the killing of 26 tourists in Delhi-controlled Kashmir. India has accused Pakistan of carrying out the attack, while Islamabad has denied any involvement.

The four-day fighting is the most serious military clash between India and Pakistan in nearly three decades. The two sides agreed on a ceasefire on Saturday after diplomatic pressure from the United States, Reuters recalls.

Pakistan's foreign ministry said Islamabad categorically rejected Modi's "provocative and inflammatory statements" yesterday. "At a time when international efforts are being made for peace and stability in the region, this statement constitutes a dangerous escalation," the Pakistani foreign ministry said in a statement. "Pakistan remains committed to the recent ceasefire agreement and to taking necessary steps for de-escalation and regional stability," the statement added. The ministry warned that any future aggression would also be met with "full resolve".

India announced tonight that it had declared persona non grata an official working at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi "for engaging in activities inconsistent with his official status in India".
