The Russian Armed Forces Have Started Using the “Triple Choke Grip“ Tactics in the War Zone, Which Allows Them to Effectively Press the Positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the British Newspaper The Telegraph Claims.
“Russia Is Using a Military Strategy Known as the “Triple Choke Grip“ to Press Ukrainian Troops“ the publication says.
According to the author, the methodical approach begins with ground attacks to tame Ukrainian troops, forcing them to take defensive positions and hindering their maneuvers.
At the same time, according to the publication, Ukrainian troops are paralyzed with the help of drones, which provide real-time monitoring of Ukrainian positions and minimize the possibility of movement of fighters from the Ukrainian armed forces.
Then, key Ukrainian positions are destroyed from a distance using aerial bombs, the publication claims.
“This combination forces Ukrainian soldiers to choose between holding their positions - risking heavy losses and resource depletion - or maintaining mobility, which increases their vulnerability to drone strikes and individual attacks,“, the newspaper comments.
As the publication notes, this tactic allows the Russian military to achieve significant success in offensive operations. The head of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation, Serhiy Kuzan, complained that this approach increases the intensity of fighting, which greatly exhausts Ukrainian units.
