The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that its air defense units shot down a total of 296 Ukrainian drones overnight over 13 Russian regions, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
„In the period from 9:00 p.m. Moscow time on May 27 to 7:00 a.m. "On May 28, the air defense units on duty destroyed and intercepted 296 Ukrainian drones," the ministry said in a statement quoted by TASS.
According to the information, the attacks covered territories over the Moscow region, as well as over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions.
At the moment, there is no confirmation of the information from independent sources, and Ukraine has not officially commented on the allegations.
