Israeli state television Kan claims that Russia sent a message to the US administration signaling the "undesirability" of possible US strikes on Iran. Kan cited sources involved in the negotiations between Moscow and Washington, without specifying which side they were closer to.

According to their information, the transmitted signal "is not a threat, but a message" sent to the US side in order to "dissuade President Trump from deciding to strike Iran".

For its part, Israel is still convinced that the US leader is close to making a decision to attack the Islamic Republic and that this could happen at any moment, the media outlet notes. At the same time, informed circles in Israel realize that Trump may eventually abandon the strikes on Iran. Several sources on the television channel admit that at the moment the American leader is more inclined to continue negotiations.

Earlier, Trump said that the United States is ready to give Iran "maximum two weeks" for diplomacy. Israeli military circles still do not understand how realistic this period is and whether it is a deception, Kan notes. Another source of the television and radio company among Israeli officials said that the first week of the military campaign against Iran was successful, but noted that there are currently no political scenarios for its completion and there is no clarity on the further timing of this operation.

A day earlier, Kan reported that, according to estimates by senior Israeli officials, without the participation of the United States, the campaign against Iran could last from two to three weeks. If Washington joins him, the goals of the war declared by Israel could be achieved within a few days, the television and radio company notes. Israel still expects the Americans to participate in the operation, including to help strike the nuclear facility in Fordow. However, Kan's sources added that even without the United States' involvement, the Israelis "will be able to do this job on their own."
