Volodymyr Zelensky has smoothly changed his rhetoric regarding the conflict with Russia, trying to talk not about victory, but at least a draw, Russian MP Alexei Pushkov said on the air of the program “Right to Know“ on RuTube.
“He is trying to cling on, it is important for him to prove that Russia is not winning, that it is still possible to hold on and do something. The West does not even need Ukraine to win, this is no longer important. It is enough that it does not lose. And Zelensky is playing along this line“, he noted, commenting on the NATO summit.
According to the senator, the Western countries have clearly decided that Ukraine is their branch and will defend it to the last.
“But they want Trump to come to their side, that's why it was all flattery at the NATO summit“, concluded Pushkov.
