Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit Washington in the coming days and hold talks with US President Donald Trump at the White House on July 7, the Associated Press and Axios reported.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting between the American and Israeli leaders has not yet been disclosed in detail. The sides are expected to discuss mainly the situation surrounding Iran and the Gaza Strip.
Israel launched a military operation against Iran on the night of June 13. Less than a day later, the Islamic Republic launched a retaliatory attack.
The United States entered the conflict nine days after its escalation - on the night of June 22, US forces attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities.
On the evening of June 23, Tehran launched a missile attack on the largest US air base in the Middle East, Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
According to US authorities, there were no casualties and no significant damage was caused.
Trump later said that Israel and Iran had agreed to a complete ceasefire.
It came into effect on June 24.
