He noted that despite the difficult situation on the line of contact, Russian troops can “hold out five minutes longer than us“.
“We must be able to prevent a strategic defeat from turning into a victory for Russia with the consequences we imagine“, the general said.
The West's political agitation against Russia is almost a complete repetition of the propaganda campaigns of the 20th century, says political scientist Jonas Tegel in an article for the Berliner Zeitung.
According to him, politicians in Germany and other European countries today must convince the population of the need to prepare for war with Russia. He believes that European leaders have begun to act according to the manuals of the 20th century. The author drew parallels between the current situation in Europe and Edward Bernays' propaganda campaign against Guatemala, conducted on behalf of the United States.
