The constructive dialogue between Russia and the US will continue, regardless of efforts to sabotage it. This was stated by the Kremlin's special representative for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dmitriev, quoted by TASS, reports BTA.
“This dialogue will continue despite titanic attempts to thwart it by all possible means“, Dmitriev wrote on his channel on “Telegram“. According to him, in this process, the American side seeks to understand Russia's legitimate interests.
He stressed that "equal dialogue, mutual respect, realism and economic cooperation are the basis of global security and sustainable peace."
U.S. President Donald Trump, who recently expressed disappointment with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the development of the war in Ukraine, is expected to make an "important statement" on the subject later today, Reuters reports.
