Volodymyr Zelensky officially proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to appoint Yulia Sviridenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine, MP Oleksandr Kachura announced.
„The Rada has received a proposal to appoint Yulia Sviridenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine. Tomorrow /b.r. today/ morning, the State Power Committee will consider it“, he wrote on his Telegram channel.
On July 14, Zelensky proposed that Sviridenko, who held the post of First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, head the government.
Yesterday, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Denys Shmygal from the post of Prime Minister, which, according to the law, entails the resignation of the entire government.
