Ukraine has the funds to purchase three Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems and is actively seeking financing from its international partners for the acquisition of seven more. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to journalists, quoted by Reuters, reports BTA.
Zelensky stressed that his country needs additional international support to strengthen its air defense in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.
He added that Ukraine must compensate for a shortfall of about $ 40 billion in financing for next year, which includes both military and civilian spending.
