Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 112 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the regions of the Russian Federation, the waters of the Azov and Black Seas at night, the Defense Ministry reported.
34 of them were shot down over the territory of the Rostov region, 31 over the Krasnodar region, 12 over the Voronezh region, 11 over the Ryazan region, 5 over the Samara region, 4 over the Penza region, 2 over the Belgorod region, 1 each over Crimea and the Lipetsk region, 11 drones were shot down over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas“, the ministry specified.
“One woman died, and others "Two people were injured as a result of an attack by enemy drones in the Penza region," Governor Oleg Melnichenko reported on his Telegram channel.
According to the head of the region, the attack took place early in the morning. “Unfortunately, one woman died. Two more people were injured“, the message says.
The governor specified that the lives of the victims are not currently in danger and emergency doctors are working with them.
A massive drone attack was repelled in seven districts of the Rostov region, one person was killed, acting governor Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel.
“The military repelled a massive air attack at night, destroying drones in the Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Belaya Kalitva, Krasnosulinsky, Kamensky, Tarasovsky, Chertkovsky and Verkhnedonsky districts“, he wrote.
At the same time, one of the buildings of an enterprise caught fire in the village of Uglerodovsky in the Krasnosulinsky district, but the fire has already been extinguished, Slyusar added.
“Unfortunately, a tragedy occurred - an employee who guarded the facility, passed away. My deepest condolences to his family and friends," the acting governor concluded.
