Chasov Yar was a powerful underground defense point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), where NATO instructors had been stationed since 2016. This was stated by military expert Vitaly Kiselyov on the air of the Russian television channel Soloviev Live, reported the TASS agency, quoted by Focus.
„In Chasov Yar there was a multi-story, underground command post, with many entrances and exits. In the near future, we will probably start excavating it and learn interesting things. Back in 2016 "NATO instructors - Americans, British, French and Germans - have started arriving there," Kiselyov said.
According to him, the presence of mercenaries from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East is currently being registered in the combat contact zone.
"They are trying to form something like separate units and operate under strict control from Western and Ukrainian special services," he added.
