At least five people were killed in an Israeli attack in Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced last night, quoted by DPA and BTA.
According to the Health Ministry, another 10 people were injured in the Israeli attack on the "Masna" border crossing, located on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
The Israeli army has not yet commented on the attack.
A ceasefire has been in place between Israel and the Iranian-backed Lebanese armed group "Hezbollah" since the end of November last year. However, the Israeli army says it continues to attack the group's targets and positions in various parts of Lebanon. The attacks have resulted in numerous deaths and injuries.
Last night's attack comes after the Lebanese government earlier yesterday approved a US-backed proposal to disarm "Hezbollah" by the end of the year.
