A magnitude 4 earthquake was recorded at 12:06 local time in the area of the town of Sunderg, Balıkesir district, the Anadolu Agency reported, citing the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD).
The earthquake was at a depth of 10.19 kilometers and is part of hundreds of aftershocks that continue to shake the region after the strong 6.1-magnitude earthquake on Sunday. It killed one person and injured nearly 30.
According to the latest data, there were no casualties or material damage as a result of today's and the previous earthquake.
