A 6.0-magnitude earthquake shook southeastern Afghanistan, the German Geosciences Research Center reported, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Nine people were killed and 25 were injured in the eastern province of Nangahar, a spokesman for the provincial health department said.
The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km.
