Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov said last night that there are no concrete plans for a trilateral meeting between the presidents of Russia, Ukraine and the US, which contradicts President Donald Trump's words about what was agreed at the Alaska meeting, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.

“Now everyone is talking about a trilateral summit or a meeting between [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky, but there is no concrete agreement between Putin and Trump on this issue“, Ushakov told Russian state television on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in China.

Trump welcomed Putin in Alaska last month, days before he met with Zelensky and his European allies in Washington.

The goal The meetings were aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, and Trump gave the impression that agreements had been reached for a direct meeting between Putin and Zelensky, DPA reports. The Kremlin did not immediately deny this information, but said that such a meeting would have to be very well prepared.

Trump later said that he did not know whether a bilateral meeting would take place, saying instead that there would be a trilateral meeting.

Ukrainian officials and leading European politicians accuse the Kremlin of trying to buy time and claim that Russia is pretending to be open to dialogue but is delaying negotiations in order to continue the war.

Izmail was subjected to a massive drone attack for more than half an hour and loud explosions echoed in the Ukrainian Danube city, local channels on the "Telegram" app reported, BTA reported.

According to their information, the main trajectory of the drones aimed at Izmail passed through the villages of Kamenka, Loshchynovka, Bogatoye, Krynichnoye, Kalanchak, Katlabug, as well as Bolgrad region. The indicated settlements are Bulgarian, in which Bulgarians live compactly.

The drone attack in Izmail is mainly around the port, local channels in "Telegram" inform. Targets are reported to have been hit.

The regional authorities have called on all residents of the Odessa region to remain in bomb shelters until the alarm is lifted.
