The delegations of Russia and North Korea may discuss a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un after the North Korean leader arrives in Beijing tonight, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, quoted by TASS, BTA reports.
“The thing is that Kim Jong-un is arriving in Beijing only tonight. And only after he arrives will there be an opportunity to discuss a possible meeting between the leaders directly with his delegation, taking into account the schedules“, Peskov pointed out.
Earlier, Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov said that the possibility of a meeting between the leaders of Russia and North Korea is being considered.
