Calls to the 112 hotline have increased from patients with flu symptoms. There are also more people waiting in front of general practitioners' offices. People between 30 and 64 years old are mainly affected, with the elderly remaining the most vulnerable. The incidence in Vidin reached 254 per 10,000 people, which necessitated the introduction of measures.
Prophylactic examinations and immunizations are suspended. Visits are suspended in medical institutions for hospital care. Anti-epidemic measures are being strengthened, such as the use of personal protective equipment, disinfection, and ventilation. In kindergartens and schools, the morning filter is being strengthened, and children are being examined to prevent sick children and staff from being allowed to work. The frequency of disinfections is being increased, as is personal hygiene and washing of children's hands. Visits are also temporarily suspended in social institutions.
