Tsoncho Ganev: Outside Sofia, things are shocking

According to him, on Thursday there were no people who came out and supported the PP-DB protest. "The facts are such, there were no people to support them outside their deputies

For any protests, anywhere, to be radicalized, there must be people with such an attitude. Society and people who go somewhere to express their opinion determine whether a protest will be considered peaceful and calm, waving only flags, or whether there will be radical actions. This was commented on in the studio of "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" by the deputy from "Vazrazhdane" and Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Tsoncho Ganev.

"Everything depends on the settings in society. Unfortunately, we from "Vazrazhdane" have been seeing for three weeks now how our society is so poor, especially outside Sofia. Most in parliament live with the thought that Bulgaria is exhausted by what is happening in Sofia, but outside Sofia things are shocking - from poverty, in terms of inflation, and even more terrible is the depopulation and disappearance of people", emphasized Ganev.

According to him, on Thursday there were no people who came out and supported the PP-DB protest. "The facts are such, there were no people who supported them outside of their deputies. This shows that even among their voters, what they are doing is disapproved of", believes Ganev.

According to Tsoncho Ganev, months ago the protests in defense of national sovereignty in terms of fiscal and monetary policy became social.

"What is observed in Bulgaria, perhaps in none of the countries that have entered the eurozone has it been. And that is that the general increase in the price of absolutely everything occurred immediately after it started to be said that we are actually entering the eurozone. A few days ago, Bulgaria, represented by the government, wanted to continue taking loans, because at the moment we have 19 billion set aside for withdrawal this year and the interest rates are already higher than those who will grant us loans. It was not the raising of the credit rating, not the eurozone, but the real economy in the country that led to the fact that those who will give us loans are raising the interest rates. So, impoverishment is a fact," he explained.
