"Vazrazhdane" begins consultations to remove Kiselova as Speaker of the National Assembly

"I wish them success," said Natalia Kiselova

"Vazrazhdane" begins consultations with parties outside the government to collect 80 signatures to remove Natalia Kiselova from the post of Speaker of the National Assembly. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the PG Petar Petrov.

"The parliament is exhausted and meaningless - this is also evident from the representatives of the majority, who have preferred to be on business trips and vacations, instead of here. The quorum is the obligation of the ruling party. The Speaker of the National Assembly has personally signed off on all business trips and delegations, and is now trying to gather a quorum. We will continue not to register until the government falls," he commented.

According to him, after the objection was submitted regarding the distribution of the three bills by committees to revoke the president's powers to issue a decree to appoint heads of services, a response was received. "In our opinion, the separation of powers and the balanced figure of the president are being violated. The response to our objection was laconic - no specific committee was named to consider the legal changes. This is extremely frivolous. The Committee for Control of Services is chaired by "Vazrazhdane", but no bill has been assigned to it," Petrov pointed out.

The Speaker of the National Assembly also made a comment to journalists. "Each parliamentary group assesses for itself what behavior to take in the hall and outside it. The reason for which they are seeking support is an issue on which they could have objected and been discussed at a presidential council. I treat all parliamentary groups objectively, so that they can do whatever they want. I wish them success,” said Natalia Kiselova.
