The Sofia Municipality organizes volunteer stations due to the garbage crisis in the "Lyulin" and "Krasno Selo".
In the morning, citizens received gloves and bags to help with garbage collection.
"What the municipality told us is that there is additional waste around the containers, which we can possibly help collect to support the mechanical removal. They instructed this morning to dispose of it separately, because apparently the organization there is going well with the separate collection, and the other thing is, we combine the garbage, package it so that it can be easier to remove", commented residents of Sofia to the Bulgarian National Radio.
In the afternoon, volunteer points will be open again.
