The Parliament rejected the President's veto on the amendments to the Law on the State Agency "Intelligence" and re-adopted the texts on the second reading.

The amendments to the Law on the State Agency "Intelligence" were supported by 126 deputies, 86 were against, and there were no abstentions.

President Rumen Radev vetoed provisions of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the State Agency "Intelligence" adopted on October 10, by which the power to appoint and dismiss the chairman of the agency is assigned to the National Assembly.

The chairman will now have three deputies, instead of the previous two.
