Anton Kutev: GERB will go lower and lower. Peevski will take away their controlled vote and even the purely political vote will fall

In the next elections, the BSP will not be able to pass the 4 percent barrier and will remain outside the parliament. The crisis in the BSP is very serious. The BSP was a living party as long as it had an instinct for self-preservation. The most likely fate from now on of the BSP will be like that of the UDF - a brooch on the lapel, commented the spokesman for several of President Radev's official offices

The rulers have no other choice, since the previous budget had a 18 billion leva gap. He said this on the show "Osche od dne" on BNT Anton Kutev, former BSP MP and spokesman for several official offices of President Rumen Radev in connection with the published draft budget for 2026, quoted by novini.bg

There is no way that the same hole will not occur now, because you cannot reduce the raised pensions and salaries, you cannot stop social spending. We have a government that is in an extremely difficult situation because it is composed of conflicting political forces, it is fed with sin and cannot make meaningful reforms because it was created that way, Kutev said.

Borisov missed the chance to leave this government. In my opinion, he wanted to stop the draining of GERB by becoming Prime Minister. He was told that this would not happen. There was an option. Until 20 days ago, there was a chance that GERB would have the same result in the next elections, but this chance has passed. GERB will go lower and lower – Peevski will take away their controlled vote and even the purely political vote will start to fall. As long as Peevski is behind them, they cannot help but lose support.

The stability of this government depends only on Peevski governing them. How long Peevski can govern is a separate question.

According to him, in the next elections, the BSP will not be able to pass the 4 percent barrier and will remain outside the parliament. The crisis in the BSP is very serious. The BSP was a living party as long as it had an instinct for self-preservation. The most likely fate of the BSP from now on will be like that of the UDF – a brooch on its lapel.

Since the beginning of "We continue the change", many political entities have been climbing on the president's back, with different reasons. The question is who he can form a coalition with. Going out into the field could happen not only with his personal commitment and when he shows it. If he sets out to do a project, he will not do it through other people. If he sets out to do something at all, he should do it very carefully, because the risks for him. The most important question, if he sets out to do it, is when he will do it, because the hopes for him are huge, he should not disappoint them.
