It is possible that next year the European Commission will ask Bulgaria to stop gas supplies to Serbia. This was stated by international analyst Vladimir Vladimirov in the studio of “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS.
He pointed out that Vucic made a “half-hearted” statement that the country was headed for early elections. “He has said this several times, but this time it is possible to happen. We need to monitor what will happen in these months, because the sanctions against “Gazprom” will lead to a severe winter and problems with fuel supplies. We may be looking at a remake of the South embargo. Serbia is in a very difficult situation, because none of the neighboring countries can help with fuel or if there is a possibility - it will be in very small, insufficient quantities, "the analyst explained.
The analyst believes that for Bulgaria it is an undeniable success that our position regarding the admission of North Macedonia to the EU has also become the position of the Union. "Our country is in an advantageous position. Therefore, I think that at the moment we do not need to hold any talks at the moment. The European Commission is clear enough - the North Macedonia must include the Bulgarians in its Constitution as a mandatory step towards the EU. So the ball is in their court," he added.
According to him, Hristiyan Mickoski will not take this step, considering the relations with Serbia and Hungary. According to him, Serbia will not allow North Macedonia and Albania to become EU members before it.
Vladimirov also commented on the case of the Bulgarian flag, which was handed to the Serbian singer Tsetsa during a concert in North Macedonia. He pointed out that such a case is a serious provocation for the RSM, which generates even more hatred, with which Serbia achieves its goal. “This was a Serbian operation for Bulgarian lapnisharani”, he added.
