The Mountain Rescue Service and relatives of 25-year-old Stefani are searching for her on Vitosha. She was last seen around 5 p.m. on Thursday in the area of the “Boyana“ residence, from where she headed up the mountain.
According to her relatives, Stefani loves the mountains and often visits routes around the “Kamen del“ hut and peak, Kopitoto and the Boyana waterfall. It is possible that she moves along unmarked paths and outside the established routes, Vesti.bg writes.
The young woman was wearing a white knee-length jacket, brown tracksuit and gray hiking boots. She is about 1.70 m tall, has short black hair and at the time of her disappearance was not carrying a phone, personal documents, money or a headlamp, which further complicates the search at night.
The Mountain Rescue Service is calling on anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact 0884 512 230, which is answered by Stephanie's mother.
Rescuers and volunteers will again search the areas around Boyana Waterfall, Kamen del and Kopitoto, asking tourists in the mountains to be careful and report if they notice any traces of the missing woman.
