This is what they wrote on social networks from "We continue the change".

The Municipal Election Commission was supposed to consider signals for the termination of the powers of the arrested mayor Blagomir Kotsev.

There are three complaints against him related to his powers as mayor. The last one is from November 21, submitted by Bilyana Yakova, bgonair.bg pointed out.

At a meeting of the commission, 20 of the members voted "for" the postponement, and 7 were "against". The decision was made in the presence of the mayor of Varna's lawyer.

The reason was an addition to Bilyana Yakova's complaint. The document claims that Kotsev had used an additional 10 days of leave. Therefore, the OIC decided to request an official report from the municipal administration in Varna.

The OIC categorically rejected the accusations that the meeting was scheduled extraordinary in order to be held before the next consideration of Kotsev's detention measure.

It must be considered by the Varna District Court, after the Supreme Court of Cassation transferred the case from Sofia to the seaside capital.
