Maya Manolova: Budget of 26 seconds. It was imposed in an arrogant manner. And it blew up the social dialogue

"Some receive a 60% increase in salaries, others - 5%. You also divide the business. The monopolies are the darling child of this budget. While the little ones are hit," commented the former ombudsman

Budget of 26 seconds. It was imposed in an arrogant manner. A budget that blew up the social dialogue. A budget of division because it punishes those working in the real sector and rewards the public sector, said former ombudsman Maya Manolova in "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov". She added that against the backdrop of rising prices, reducing the income of those who actually work is truly "brutal and arrogant".

"Some receive a 60% increase in salaries, others - 5%. You also divide the business. Monopolies are the darling of this budget. While small companies are being hit".

This administration has gathered antagonistic sentiments against itself and, according to her, is absolutely unacceptable for Bulgarian citizens. She had warned that "if there is no clear price control, this protest will simply look like an improvisation in the face of what is to come".

According to Manolova, Bulgaria is the only country that has not taken any measures to control prices, and "at the same time, we will enter the eurozone".

For the former ombudsman, the protest was both against the budget and against the administration.

"This was a protest against the budget, which is an emanation of the management style, arrogant and with the line "we don't care what you think - we will impose it, and you will pay the employers". Bulgarians do not like the way the state functions. Against this background, what is coming - the avalanche-like increase in the cost of living and prices - this will be the next reason for a big protest.

In the words of Maya Manolova, every day of government the left-wing coalition "suffers damage".

She announced herself "in favor" of leaving the government.

Maya Manolova stated that "there is hope after the successes of civil society".
