14 people aged between 18 and 36 have been charged with hooliganism after the end of the protest in downtown Sofia on Monday evening. Ten of them were detained for 72 hours, and the rest are free with various measures of restraint.

The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office announced that evidence has been collected of how the detainees threw stones, pyrotechnics and glass bottles at police officers and cars and overturned garbage containers.

Six of the detainees have criminal records, two have been convicted of driving after using drugs and for trafficking refugees, and two others have pending pre-trial proceedings.

At the direction of the supervising prosecutors, additional camera recordings have been requested, witnesses have been questioned and expert reports have been ordered.

After analyzing the collected evidence, it will be decided which of the detainees will be required to be permanently detained, the state prosecution specified.
