Ivaylo Shotev: Limiting sections abroad is absolute cynicism

Radev's party is a competitor, but it is not yet clear what is clear there, said the representative of Continuing the Change

We have done a lot about inequalities. You saw what our policy was regarding pensions, you saw how we linked the minimum wage to the average. Precisely so that inequalities in our country would decrease and that we would not be a model that we call "Latin American", this was said in "Speak Now" Ivaylo Shotev from "Continuing the Change".

"The model that existed until now led to a handful of people being able to determine our fate. We want exactly the opposite - we want equal access to public resources for all people, not the state of phone calls that we are used to so far.

He stated that they are not approaching the BSP and it is "their business what they decide". He added that "they do not have their own candidate in the battle for the BSP", they are observers, not participants.

Yvaylo Shotev stated that Radev's party is a competitor, but there "it is still not clear what is clear".

"We still do not know where he stands on key issues. We have not seen what kind of people he will work with. So he is currently surrounded in a fog, an enigma. For me, as a younger person, it reminds me a lot of the Tsar who came with his name and then said nothing".

He called on President Yotova to impose a veto on the number of polling stations abroad, since "the Constitution states that every Bulgarian citizen, regardless of where they are in the world, has the right to participate in the electoral process".

"What we observed in parliament was cynicism. How is it that people, mainly those who are outside the EU, are forbidden to participate in the political process. Why?

In his words, this was "an absolute theater that played out before our eyes". This mostly benefits, in his words, "DPS-New Beginning".

"What I think is being done is that GERB and DPS during "Vazrazhdane" as service personnel they imposed a ban and actually restricted Bulgarian citizens from being able to vote freely".
