Radev is a serious political competitor, and PP-DB's plans for 121 MPs remain. This was said by academician Nikolay Denkov from PP-DB on “The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov“. In the studio, he commented on key political topics – from GERB leader Boyko Borisov's remark about Andrey Gyurov, through the “Petrohan“ case, to President Rumen Radev's appearance on the political scene.

Denkov described as “completely theatrical“ GERB leader Boyko Borisov's remark that Andrey Gyurov should become acting prime minister, if they want him so much.

According to him, it seems that the elections will be on April 19, which means that the earliest an acting prime minister should be appointed is February 19.

„This remark was used for people who do not know the procedures. This is an attempt to pressure the president to decide what he will do. This shows that Borisov is nervous about who will be the prime minister. Whether it will be Andrey Gyurov or someone else, he must ensure fair elections, and Borisov has a problem with fair elections“, commented Nikolay Denkov.

He categorically denied the claim that Andrey Gyurov is Delyan Peevski's man. According to him, the instability in the country comes precisely from Borisov and Peevski. According to him, if there was a delay in the date of the early parliamentary elections, it was because of President Rumen Radev's entry into the political arena.

„President Iliana Yotova was given the difficult task of having a caretaker government for a few days, which is almost impossible“, Denkov pointed out.

Academician Nikolay Denkov commented on the “Petrohan“ case, emphasizing the need for institutions to focus on the investigation and discovery of the perpetrators, instead of spreading rumors and unverified information.

" I have a hundred questions, but they are completely different. They are why, when the prosecutor's office and the Minister of Internal Affairs come forward, they start discussing the victims, and do not start explaining how they will catch the murderers. We have a triple murder. When has this happened in Bulgaria in recent years? And instead of these people, on whom the investigation, the filing of an indictment, and ultimately a conviction if the murderers are caught, depend, they are concerned with what the victims did. Excuse me, if there are claims that there are so many weapons there, if there were claims that there were such signals there, the first thing the institutions should do is explain what they have done in the last two years to explain what is happening in this hut."

According to him, the services have much more information on the case.

"My colleague Daniel Valchev said something very interesting yesterday - that in fact, the one who entered should not be able to enter such a name, because it does not meet the requirements, since it is misleading. Now I will tell you something like a former prime minister - such a thing can happen if there is cooperation from the relevant services. So for me it is very interesting to see if the services actually have no relation to this case. Lest it turn out that, as they are currently starting to spread all sorts of rumors about them, they have much more information than they say, and with these rumors they are actually trying to cover up something else."

Within the framework of the election campaign, academician Nikolay Denkov commented on the emergence of President Rumen Radev on the political scene and how this affects the plans of “We continue the change“ to form a parliamentary majority of 121 deputies. Nikolay Denkov described Rumen Radev as a serious opponent on the political field.

“ First, of course, he is a serious political competitor, an opponent on the field, so on the one hand it is more difficult. On the other hand, these 121 deputies, we want them to do their job, so nothing has changed in this regard. Some of Radev's requests are in a completely different direction. The examples given with Orban as a leader, with Russia as an economy, show that he has a different idea of how Bulgaria will develop.“
