The motives for the tragedy, in which six people lost their lives in the "Petrohan" hut and near Okolchitsa peak, may never be fully established. This was stated by lawyer Lyudmil Rangelov to bTV in a comment on the case, emphasizing that at this stage the main task of the investigative authorities is to arrange the facts and based on them to draw logical conclusions.

According to him, the briefing of the prosecutor's office and criminal services provided convincing answers to a number of key questions. It has been confirmed that the three men found dead in front of the "Petrohan" hut were found next to their personal firearms, which they legally possessed. The forensic examination has established that each of the shots was fired at point-blank range or from an extremely close distance - within the control of the human hand, which points to the suicide version.

Rangelov also pointed out additional information that, in his opinion, is important for the final conclusions - the autopsies found that the stomachs of the three were empty. This suggests that in the last days before their deaths they probably only consumed liquids, such as water or tea. The lawyer specified that he has a reliable source for this information, but at this stage he cannot reveal it.

Regarding the speculation about the possible involvement of outsiders, Rangelov stated that there is no data to support such a version. According to him, investigators are certainly working on alternative hypotheses, but so far no facts have been found that point to the intervention of other people.

A comment was also made on the distributed video footage, around which suspicions of editing have arisen. The lawyer emphasized that video technical expertise has sufficiently advanced methods for verifying the authenticity of the recordings and for establishing possible interference. According to him, there is no logical interest on the part of either the prosecutor's office or the Ministry of Interior to present manipulated video materials.

Rangelov also recalled information about a report filed with the National Security Agency related to the family and an abandoned child, noting that in cases of suspicion of a sect or extremist structures, such cases should be monitored carefully. According to him, sects are a form of organization that can be socially dangerous and require institutional control.

Regarding the claims of relatives of the victims about four jeeps being spotted in the area, the lawyer expressed confidence that this version is being verified, but expressed serious doubts about its credibility and connection to the tragic events.

According to Lyudmil Rangelov, the criminal investigation itself may be completed within a few months. However, he believes that the consequences and analyses related to the case will last for years, as the tragedy raises serious questions about the family environment, child rearing, and extreme, in his opinion absurd, ideas about the way a child should grow up.
