The shell casings found in the "Petrokhan" hut were not fired from a firearm. This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in an official statement. The shell casings were deformed, with torn casings and missing primers.
The department specified that the inspection also found bullets on which there were no traces of rifling or traces of the barrel of a weapon through which they were fired.
Meanwhile, BNT obtained an interrogation of a witness in the "Petrokhan" case. The testimony is from Valeri Andreev's father, who speaks of sexual assault. He says that his son smoked marijuana as a teenager and his mother Sofia took him to Ivaylo Kalushev to stop being addicted.
„My son Valeri Andreev smoked marijuana in his school years. The summer between ninth and tenth grade we were at the seaside, on vacation, and there he overdid it with marijuana. My wife Sofia took him and took him to Ivaylo Kaushev and his company.“
In his testimony, the father says that his son often asked for financial help from him in large amounts. After he gave up his studies at the Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School and spent some time with the group, he asked his father for money to buy a property in Mexico.
"In 2012, they decided to buy a property in Mexico and my son Valeri returned to Bulgaria to meet me and ask me for money. The amount amounted to 260,000 euros. It was provided by my wife without my knowledge and consent."
"Valery wrote to me that he was returning to Bulgaria permanently because he had a falling out with Kalushev and his group. My opinion is that Kalushev is extremely intelligent and that he is undoubtedly a gifted manipulator."
The father also says that after 2016, Valery returned to Bulgaria permanently after a break in relations with Ivaylo Kalushev and took a different path, outside the group.
