Boyko Borisov: The truth is simple: technology is no longer just a sector, but the economy itself

We are removing obstacles - less bureaucracy, faster procedures, more security for investors

Honestly and essentially about the future of the technology industry in Bulgaria. This is what we talked about during our meeting with BRAITH. The truth is simple - technology is no longer just a sector. It is the economy. Whoever invests in it - grows. Whoever delays - falls behind. From GERB, we do not delay! This was written on his "Facebook" profile by the party leader Boyko Borisov.

"In the last National Assembly, we took real steps - we developed the capital market and introduced tax incentives for investments in innovations. These are not promises, this is already working," he added.

And he emphasizes that GERB continues to make specific commitments. And they are:

Growth of investments in science and innovation; Expanding tax breaks for research and development; Connecting business with science – with real centers and technology transfer; Developing artificial intelligence and computing infrastructure in Bulgaria; Creating conditions for more engineers and highly qualified personnel; A chance for people to retrain and enter the digital economy.

"And something very important – we are removing obstacles - less bureaucracy, faster procedures, more security for investors. Our goal is clear - for Bulgaria not to catch up, but to lead. We can and do it!", adds Borisov.
