Anton Kutev: The halls with supporters are not filled with political engineering, nor with TikTok and YouTube

I am not far from the thought that they are trying to play out the Romanian scenario in advance and try to make the elections meaningless, and the obvious victory of "Progressive Bulgaria", which is visible in all sociological surveys

The caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov responded to Boyko Borisov and Rumen Radev, who separately stated that the government is illegitimate.

"I am not far from the thought that they are trying to play out the Romanian scenario in advance and try to make the elections meaningless, and the obvious victory of "Progressive Bulgaria", which is visible in all sociological surveys. Every day we meet with people and I see the support we receive. The potential attempt to make the elections meaningless and to say that this was won with external interference will not pass. "At the moment, I don't see any external interference," said the candidate for MP from "Progressive Bulgaria" Anton Kutev in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".

He is adamant that his party protects the interests of Bulgaria and the interests of Bulgarian citizens in a legitimate way.

"Political engineering is not used in the headquarters, on the contrary. If there is political engineering, it is what is being done at the moment and that is precisely why we have concerns that they are trying to steal the vote. And in the event of a convincing victory for Radev, it will be claimed that external forces were behind "Progressive Bulgaria". People can see who the people are who are behind this. Radev, who was president for 10 years, has very clearly shown his positions. The entire campaign is focused on being among the people, the halls are not filled with political engineering, nor with attempts on TikTok and YouTube. They are filled with people who believe that change is coming," added Kutev on the air of Bulgaria ON AIR. Kutev once again clarified that support for Rumen Radev does not come from outside, but from Bulgarian citizens.

"Even those sociologists who do not like Radev and give him bad results say that 49% of Bulgarians support Radev. This is every second Bulgarian. We have the support of the people. We have nothing to do with any machinations. If someone is making machinations, it is not us. Rumen Radev is legitimate. We do not have any financial factors that are outside Bulgaria. Organizations are emerging, without any legitimacy, that say that digital machinations are being made. I am sorry, this has nothing to do with reality," emphasized the candidate for People's Representative.

Kutev once again clarified that there is "nothing dark" in support of Radev. "Support for Radev is authentic, not from the networks. The whole idea that the networks are filling Radev's salons is ridiculous and false. In the fight against the bought vote, I like what the caretaker government is doing. This war is necessary, we must limit the bought vote. The whole attempt to involve the European Commission and create the impression that foreign forces are running the campaign is another matter. This will not pass. We will not allow the elections to be canceled or declared illegitimate," he added.

The guest denied that there are agents of the State Security in the ranks of "Progressive Bulgaria".

"I want the list of the 30 people who are alleged to be agents, because there is no point in getting involved in the manipulations. Assen Vassilev is blatantly lying and he knows he is lying. "The elections are a struggle for trust, you can't win the trust of citizens by lying to them. We came with a clear mission to change Bulgaria. Our goal is not simply to enter government, it is not to replace one oligarchy with another, the goal is to create conditions and rules in the state that make oligarchy impossible," he said.
