Kiril Petkov: It's time for GERB and DPS not to be ashamed and come out and say that they govern together

They are the largest political party in the parliament. They tell MPs what to vote for. Saying that the four ladies negotiated with us, they don't know who Kalin Stoyanov is - that's enough. It is time for people to take responsibility, commented the co-chairman of the PP

" Mr. Peevski was more honest today. He said that however many votes they have after the elections, they will talk to GERB. While Borisov said that they will not talk. It's time they stop being shy and come out and say they rule together. They are an informal coalition that will rule together and beyond. This is what the co-chairman of the PP Kiril Petkov told journalists in the parliament, quoted by Dariknews.bg.

"The last thing I want to say on the subject of truth is that they cannot say that they do not know what is written in the Constitution. They are the largest political party in the parliament. They tell MPs what to vote for. Saying that the four ladies negotiated with us, they don't know who Kalin Stoyanov is - that's enough. It's time for people to take responsibility.

"There is a difference between a political decision on certain texts, their development, who introduced them, who voted on them and who is the author of these texts, because the author of the legislative acts is the National Assembly" , said the co-chairman of the DB Hristo Ivanov in connection with the proposal for legislative changes in the Constitution, related to who can run for office prime minister.

He added that he refused to hold meetings that took place behind closed doors.

"The position of PP-DB was extremely clear. We have proposed a model in which the regular government continues to act ex officio. After consultations with the managements of GERB and DPS, the other possible model was arrived at. This model is more complex to implement because it requires more actions. But it also has its advantages. The bad thing is that the president is trying to campaign for us to go back to the previous state where he alone decided. We were sent to elections before we could complete the construction. There was a planned law on the caretaker government, which had to be adopted and there was no time for it to happen," Ivanov also said.

In his words, there is not a single political argument for Bulgaria to go to elections again.
