PP colleagues started a riot and protest against themselves. They are leading it very successfully, at the moment. This is what he said in the program “Wake up” on Nova TV, GERB-SDS deputy Georg Georgiev.
He also commented on the case between Zhivko Kotsev and Kalin Stoyanov. When asked whether a person who is alleged to have pressured the chief secretary of the Ministry of the Interior should continue to be interior minister, Georgiev indicated that this statement was only evidenced by Kotsev's words, about which contradictory information has come out in recent days. “Information that was confirmed last night by a reputable, independent journalist who does not make a name for himself by talking nonsense. Currently, an organized criminal group is under investigation, the head of the “Customs” Agency. was detained in this connection. I am surprised by the way the PP stood on the embrasure for this person, as well as the surprising withdrawal of his resignation”, pointed out Georgiev. He added that someone could claim that the PP exerted pressure in order for Kotsev to withdraw his resignation and retain leverage in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Georgiev specified.
According to him, the prosecutor's office is competent enough in its work to know what to do. „Impresses that the image of the Secretary General fits well in a scenario that “We continue the change” they told themselves only 9 months ago. These are not my words, I am not even interpreting them, they were heard directly: “We must hold elections with our Ministry of Interior”. This was said in a conversation between representatives of “We continue the change”. We heard it and what is happening -the general secretary is a piece of the puzzle, which, at this moment, fits into this picture, which was then told in this recording”, the People's Representative from GERB also said .
He specified that Kalin Stoyanov does not and has never had anything to do with the GERB party. “The name of Kalin Stoyanov was proposed by Kiril Petkov.
According to Georgiev, if we work only on the basis of allegations, there will be no need for institutions. “It will be much easier for us if we adhere to the competences of all those who are responsible for a certain sector in our country, than to work with claims”, he specified.
Georgi Georgiev added that “Balkan Stream” is an entirely Bulgarian project that fell victim to the outright lies of a group of people who did not want to acknowledge its benefits and positives.
