Reneta Indjova: We have never had a failed Prime Minister like Denkov

"The legacy that is being given to Glavchev is a virtual structure. This is not an official government, but a contractual transfer of power," commented the former acting prime minister

The institution of the official cabinet has been made a laughing stock. This is what Reneta Indjova, acting prime minister in the period of October 1994, said to BNR – January 1995

"We do not know who bears the political responsibility. The Constitutional Court does not want to rule on the amendments to the Constitution. If at some point he says that they are unconstitutional, what is the legitimacy of the government?!".

We have never had a failed prime minister like Denkov, Indjova also stated.

"If power was to be accepted correctly today, the new prime minister should not have allowed this edifying tone of Denkov".

She commented on the growing scandal surrounding Chief Secretary Zhivko Kotsev.

"The prosecutors are on their way. Could a government be constituted in the existing situation?".

Indjova also reflects on the words of Academician Denkov that corruption in Bulgaria is connected with Russia
"All the shenanigans they carry out, they undertake them under the principles and slogan of Euro-Atlantic affiliation. They are not loyal to any of the organizations they belong to. We have a government that serves all foreign interests, but not Bulgarian ones. Why shouldn't China be behind Russia? We have enough reasons to believe that Asen Vassilev and his company also have a Chinese connection. The media is ready to cry tears – is there a future for PP. Is that the problem? Today, the important thing is that every doubt be put to the test.

Reneta Injova, however, believes that "no revisions, no checks will be made on the actions of the previous government".

"It was solely for the purpose of siphoning resources from public funds".

The former prime minister called for a "purification of Bulgaria from the miasma of crime, which has become a political model".

"He mimics well and will continue to exist".

She wants to believe that Dimitar Glavchev will try to solve this problem.

"The inheritance it is given is a virtual structure. This is not a caretaker government, but a negotiated transfer of power. There is not a loyal and aware media sphere available to help much".

Injova hopes the judges will also "try to break through the many-headed snake".
