Another case of a car crashing into a commercial establishment. This time it is about a hair salon near the "Musagenitsa" metro station, where a car turned perpendicular to the roadway and crashed into the shop window.

The incident happened on April 9 at noon. An emergency team had to transport the driver to the hospital, and the traffic on “Marko Semov” remained closed for hours.

Witnesses told NOVA that there were no casualties in the incident. The owner of the salon left 2 minutes before.

„There was a loud bang. I looked over and saw that the car was starting to catch fire. People got out of it, one grabbed a fire extinguisher and put it out, said Alexander Gradinarov, a witness.

The driver is 24 years old. He was taken to hospital with a low back injury.

People in the area are demanding that guardrails be installed at the site, because there have been other similar incidents.

„ This is a possible solution, we will propose it to the Metropolitan Municipality. Already today, I will request statistics from the Traffic Police about the incidents in this section”, said Petko Goranov, mayor of Studentski district.
