Central Election Commission approves of slogan, logo and first of series of videos of the explanatory campaign for the 2 in 1 elections on June 9. During today's meeting, the CEC also decided on the number of mandates in the multi-mandate constituencies in the elections for the national parliament.
The slogan of the vote will be “We choose together“. According to the CEC, the explanatory campaign can start as early as tomorrow.
The clips will be broadcast on national televisions, radio stations, information sites and internet platforms. All materials will also be available through the commission's website and Facebook page, public television specifies.
CEC also decided to send a letter to the “Information Service” with a request to provide them by tomorrow at the latest with a proposal for visualization on the page of the commission of a so-called counter that will count the remaining time until the elections, and of an active banner that informs about expiring terms.
At today's meeting, the electoral body also voted that the model of the electronic public register of complaints and reports submitted to the Regional Election Commission, the decisions made on them and instructions for completing the files on the complaints against the decisions of the RIC in the elections of June 9, 2024 is for both types of elections.
With another decision, the CEC determined the number of mandates for each multi-mandate electoral district of the country. They total 31 in number, from where the next 240 people's representatives will be broadcast:
The distribution of the mandates depends on the number of the population according to data provided by the National Statistical Institute, with their letter of January 9, 2023 and the annex to it, containing data on the total number of the population as of September 7, 2021.
