They are considering the second reading of the ban on gambling advertising

People's representatives are meeting in an extraordinary manner

An extraordinary session of the National Assembly will be held today, BNT reported.

Deputies will consider the second reading of the amendments to the Law on Gambling. Before that, the amendments will be discussed at a meeting of the budget committee.

The changes foresee a ban on advertising in all types of media - television, radio, printed publications, including websites. Advertising is allowed only on billboards and away from schools and other public facilities. Advertising on public buildings is prohibited. It remains on sports equipment, and that is not intended for minors, in gyms. It is also planned that there will be gambling halls only in settlements with more than 5,000 inhabitants, with 1,100 licensed halls in our country.
