A 24-year-old driver died on the Varna-Dobrich road, in the municipality of Aksakovo. The tragic incident happened in the area of the village of Izvorsko, BNT reported.
The young driver entered the oncoming traffic lane with his car and hit a concrete truck head-on. Two other cars and another hit the HGV. He died on the spot in the head-on collision. His companion, 21 years old, was seriously injured, but not life-threatening. The alcohol and drug tests of the drivers were negative.
“There is a daily speed control on this section. Since the beginning of the year, 3,447 speeding violations have been established, said Senior Inspector Dimitar Dimitrov – Traffic police - Varna.
