A dangerously high temperature warning has been issued across the country country for another day, BNT reported.
Expectations are for highs across most of the country of 35° up to 39°, in Sofia – about 34°, on the seashore – from 30° to 34°. It will be sunny, but there is a chance of rain in isolated places in the afternoon. It will blow weak, in the eastern regions and along the Black Sea - a moderate northeast wind. And it will be cloudless on the seashore. The temperature of the sea water is 26°. The excitement of the sea will be weak.
In the mountains sunny weather will prevail, but afternoon showers are not excluded. There will be moderate winds from the east-northeast, and maximum temperatures on the highest peaks will be 14° to 19°.
And in the coming days, light and isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are not excluded, mainly in the eastern half, as well as in the mountainous regions of the country, but it will remain very hot.
With continued hot and almost dry weather, the areas at extreme fire risk are also increasing.
